You first of all need to unscrew the base of the computer so you see an image like below. This image shows an empty RAM slot which are the blue and black slots aswell as there being no graphics / sound card inserted.
Sound Card
The below image you can see that at the bottom left corner of the machine is a space where a sound card could be fitted, you would just need to unscrew one of the back plates protecting this slot and then place the selected sound card into the slot that fits. Once the card is fitted into the slot you would then need to re-screw the back plate in place as well as the sound card to secure the card.
RAM

The image to the left is the computer base without any RAM inserted into it, as you can see the blue and black slots are empty. You need to ensure if you are using two pieces of RAM that you insert one piece into the Black Slot 1 and the other into the Black Slot 2. The reason being that the computer will look for RAM in the Black slot 1 first and then the second black slot. You can also put two in each blue slot however you then need to ensure that there is not just one piece of RAM in a single black slot. Once the pieces of RAM are inserted inside each slot the computer should look like the image to the right.
